This is a classic one-way journey that takes you on an epic road trip across Morocco’s most iconic landscapes. Starting in the imperial city of Fes, the tour travels south into the Sahara Desert, then west through the “Road of a Thousand Kasbahs,” and finally over the dramatic High Atlas Mountains to finish in the vibrant city of Marrakech. 3 Days 2 Nights from Fes starts after breakfast, travelling through the Alpine city of Ifrane, past the Cedar Forest where you may be able to spot some of the famous monkeys, the Barbary Macaques. There will be stops along the way to admire the beautiful scenery. Passing through Midelt and the Ziz Valley; an oasis filled with palm trees, where the Ziz river flows through, bringing life to the oasis through its course. Finally arriving in Merzouga, where you will enjoy some mint tea on arrival and leave your luggage in your room before you camel trek into the majestic Merzouga dunes, enjoying a stunning sunset on the way to the traditional camp where a warm welcome awaits, followed by an authentic Moroccan dinner, desert drums and stargazing. Early start. Camel trek back to the hotel, taking in a beautiful Sahara sunrise along the way. Breakfast and shower before leaving for Rissani where you will visit truly authentic spice markets and souks. Continuing the journey through Tinghir in the Draa region, enjoying the everchanging landscapes and stopping for photo opportunities along the way. Arriving in Boumalne, where you will enjoy dinner, a refreshing swim and an overnight stay.
Depart after breakfast. Travelling through Ouarzazate; known as Moroccan Hollywood, as it is home to some of Morocco’s largest film studios. Stopping at Ait Ben Haddou to explore this amazing UNESCO World Heritage site and backdrop to many famous movies and TV programmes such as Gladiator and Game of Thrones. Traverse the Atlas Mountains, stopping along the way to enjoy the incredible scenery and beauty of the mountains. Finally arriving in Marrakech, where 3 Days 2 Nights from Fes ends.
