6 days from Casablanca to Marrakech

Day 1: Casablanca – Rabat – Fes

After your arrival we will drive you to the center of Casablanca to explore the main site of Casablanca, Hassan II mosque then we drive to Rabat, capital. We explore the main attractions and monuments, Hassan tower and Les Oudayaas kasbah then we head to  Fes where your will spend the night in a Riad. (breakfast included)

Day 2: Fes exploring -Ifrane -Cedar forest-Boulaajoul

We will pick you up from your riad and drive to the old Jewish quarter and the Royal palace gate yard, where you will learn about the Jewish history in Morocco. Your visit includes the tile art factory and then a wonderful panoramic view over the whole Medina of Fes. After we finished visiting outside of the Medina, you will be dropped off in the Medina to visit the famous old Tanneries , and then the Quaraouine Mosque and University , the Attarin Medersa and the Najjarin Fountain.After you are done we will drive to Boulaajoul for an overnight stay .

Day 3: Boulaajoul – Ziz valley – Erfoud – Merzouga 

Today after breakfast we will drive to the Sahara Desert passing through the Tizi Ntalghamt pass to Midelt and along the magnificent Ziz Gorges carved through volcanic rock, you’ll see views of the Middle-Atlas plateau, noticing how the scenery changes to reveal hints of the desert as you approach the city Errachidia. After lunch, we’ll continue our journey through the Ziz  Valley , Erfoud before we arrive in Merzouga, where you will take a camel ride to spend a unique night in the desert . After dinner at the luxury camp they will play Berber music for you using drums. (dinner and breakfast included)

Day 4: Merzouga – Rissani – Todra gorges – Boumalne dades 

After breakfast, we leave the desert to visit Rissani town, the ancient capital of Tafilalet. Rissani still a major trading center in the region, with a large souk  lively on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays.

After a stroll in Rissani Souk, we continue to Erfoud, where we visit one of the workshops of fossilized marble. Then we drive through Touroug and Tinjdad palm groves, to reach the Todra Gorges. The course of Todra river has carved out a grand canyon through the mountains -Making a high red cliff-sided canyon. These gorges are an ideal place for rock climbers. Feel free to wander in the gorges and appreciate the beauty of the landscape. Free time for lunch in a restaurant. Then we continue to the Dades valley, through Boumalne Dades. Inevitable stops at the “monkey fingers” rock formation. And on a spot atop a mountain overlooking the Dades valley. Finally, dinner and overnight in a hotel.

Day 5: Dades Valley – Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech

After breakfast we travel through the Dades Valley towards Kalaa M’gouna – called, “the way of the 1000s kasbahs”. We visit city Ouarzazate and then you explore local Ait Benhaddou Kasbah – the largest Kasbah in Morocco , a UNESCO heritage site. Then we will cross the high Atlas mountains till we reach city of Marrakech. Overnight stay in a Riad (breakfast included)

Day 6:Marrakech airport 

Today we will drive you to the  airport and here ends our 6 days tour from Casablanca
